Go Daddy picks an agency to produce Super Bowl commercials
For the first time since 2005 Go Daddy is using an advertisement agency to produce two commercials for the 2013 Super Bowl. Go Daddy signed a contract with the New York office of Deutsch this week. Go Daddy used Deutsch earlier this year for commercials that ran during the Olympics. According to Go Daddy’s Chief Marketing Officer Barb Rechterman the company is trying to reposition sexy. She said “The new sexy means success, ambition and drive and it can be achieved by using Go Daddy to grow your business. We think it’s sexy to grow a business, to be your own boss and to make dreams come true online.” Some of the previous Go Daddy Super Bowl commercials have focused mostly on scantily clad or stripping women so it will be interesting to see what Deutsch comes up with.
