ICANN Delegates Over 300 NEW gTLD Domain Names!
ICANN announced the “Dawn of a New Internet Era” last October, and offered the first in a series of new generic top level domain name delegations. This means they’ve added new gTLDs to the Root Zone District, or the highest level of the Domain Name System structure.
To put this in perspective, The DNS Root Zone contains only 280 delegations of generic, country code, and internationalized top level domain names. This is a huge expansion where that number could top 1,300 new names or “Strings” in coming years.
Too Much Technical Jargon?
Simply put, you have the ability to purchase your own (.MINE) generic Top Level Domain name space. In turn, you are free to sell your next tier (@something.MINE) gTLD sub-domain name space to others.
You’ve seen in other news that Amazon recently acquired the .BUY domain, Imagine that YOU were the owner of that domain and listed it for sale, do you see where I’m going with this? Those millions of dollars could be lining your pockets, or your whole suit right now!
With the release of the newly delegated gTLDs, You can make it happen!
Let me be frank, and say this is NOT your average result and often times your profit rates won’t be nearly as astronomical, nor will your bank account suddenly overflow on a typical day… But it could!
Take a look at a few of the newly released gTLDs over the last 60 days, and it will give you an idea of where you most profitable areas might lie, where you may face the most competition, what innovations may be developed, or industries might boom.

A grand total of 322 gTLDs have been released since the announcement on October 23, 2013. The announcement was also the kickoff of the delegated name rollout, with 4 new gTLDs in Russian, Chinese, and Arabic.
