Mobile.net Sells $500,000, .Gift Sells and the Registry Donuts’ Webinar

Recent Sales

In an auction that yielded six figures worth of sales Sedo.com accounced the sale of Gab.com to a company in Texas named Gab Online LLC, the new owners claim to be launching a review website for services, websites and products across the web, apparently they applied for a trademark in 2013. With another recent sale made by DomainNameSales .NET made the news with the $500,000 sale of Mobile.net showing once again the preferential treatment .NET receives from developers.

GTLD News

With news of the new gtld’s .gift was please to see Johnson and Johnson pick up three hundred registrations, showing obvious value in the gtld while other popular companies are picking up trademark names such as Amazon with Amazon.gift.  While many are skeptical of the new gtld’s the market speaks with multiple names being sold with x.technology, ire.land and switer.land each over $3,000 validating that the new extensions are not only here to stay but opportunities await those ready to venture the unchartered territory. To date 175 new gtld’s have been released into the market.

Donuts

Dan Schindler of Donuts, the company that raise 200 million in investment capital, will be speaking at a webinar to discuss the new gtld’s the company is and has launched. Dan was CEO of CentralNIC where he hired a good number of registrars to resell second-level names. Donuts is a pioneer in the new gtld space with extensions such as .services, .camera, .gallery and many others, I was personally contacted by the company in an effort to help push the new gtld’s into auction and place generics in front of investors that remain outside of the sunrise period. For more interest in this company please see Donuts.co .
